Changing your hotline status

In order to send and receive hotline incoming calls as an operator, your status must be changed from Off Duty to On Duty. There are three ways an Operator's status can be changed on Rapid Response.

Note: Operators need to change their status to "On Duty" to accept incoming calls.


Option 1: Change Status on the Hotline Dashboard

Toggle the top bar next to your profile icon left or right to turn your status off duty and on duty.


Option 2: Change Status by Texting the Hotline 

Text "On Duty" or "Off Duty" to the hotline number. You will receive a text back from the hotline to confirm your change of status. 


Option 3: Change Status by Hotline Admin

Your status may be managed by an administrator on your Rapid Response account. Administrators have permission to change Operators' statuses.
